A challenging uphill climb at Raft Point will afford stunning views of the port’s Aboriginal outdoor art gallery. The art depicts the mythical Wandjina clan on the Great Fish Chase, hunting crocodiles, fish, and snakes in their distinctive halos. The paintings are thousands of years old and are touched up every 40 years exclusively by an Aboriginal tribe member who is authorized to do so. Raft Point is a splendid red sandstone headland and is said to be the most photographed place in Kimberley, Australia.
